Hey, Jurors! Before I begin my statement, I’d like to thank everyone for an amazing game. This third season of Duplicity was fast-paced, but still engaging, and I’m sure we can all agree with that, am I right? It was a fun experience getting to play with all of you and I’m glad I had the opportunity to do as such. Throughout the game we all had our ups, and we all had our downs, but in the end .. it’s true to say that we all contributed to this experience making it as fun as it possibly could have been. So once again, thanks for playing with me guys, and thanks Julie for hosting a great game. I really did have a blast playing this game!
Now, when I signed up for this game, I wanted to make sure to have a good solid alliance with someone, and just win as many challenges as I possibly could. I managed to pick up the very first HOH win of the season, and nominated two inactives at the time, to be fair to the rest of you, the majority of the house. I believe that I played this game as fair as possible and made friends and unions with the right people. My first alliances consisted of myself and Roddy, then a 4-way alliance with myself, Chelsia, Steven, and James.
It wasn’t until later in the game when everyone wanted my F2 partner, Roddy out of the game. I had to take this hit, and as such Roddy left the game regrettably, which led to an alliance with myself and Monica, an alliance that I’m glad was made. Monica and I bonded like no other. Her and I worked at the start of the game, you could say, but made it official around the time Roddy had left. I believe my game was risky and challenging as well as safe at the same time. I at no time entirely depended on another person .. because I believe I always carried my own weight with whomever I was working with.
I stayed loyal to everyone I was aligned with.. as possible as I could have been. In the circumstances where I couldn’t be, three in particular, it was because it would have ruined my own personal game on the spot, and I hope that you can understand that. However, when it came down to the end after Roddy had been evicted from the house, Monica was my one and only true alliance, and I honored that to the very end, just as she had done. I believe that’s something to be looked up to .. loyalty, and both of us showcased that.
Tonight, I want you all to vote for who you think played a smarter game socially, strategically, and challenge-wise. While I may not have been a total challenge whore overall, I did have a decent capture of victories when I needed them; all of which were four HoH wins: one in the beginning, one in the middle, and the two at the very end. I believe that I played a good social game, as when I was online with all of you, I truly did attempt to make the time to speak to all of you at certain times and I hope each and everyone one of you noticed that. I’m ready for every question you’re ready to ask, so please fire away. <3 Thanks, guys.
